The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced the closure of a section of Kenyatta Avenue from Tuesday 25th July to Saturday 12th August 2023 at off-peak hours.
KENHA announced that the closure shall be done between 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m. to allow for the installation of a cross culvert across the Avenue.
The closure shall be done in four (4) phases as follows:
Phase 1 – 24th to 26th July 2023
Phase 2 – 28th July to 1st August 2023
Phase 3 – 3rd to 7th August 2023
- Phase 4 – 8th to 12th August 2023
“Motorists are urged to exercise caution and road courtesy as they cooperate with police and traffic marshalls for better management of traffic” read part of the statement.
