Popular Nairobi Matatu Sacco Super Metro has today announced the expansion of their route coverage around Nairobi to include Kahawa West. Super Metro will now have some of its minibusses ply the Commercial – Survey – Roasters – TRM – Zimmerman – Githurai 44 – Kahawa West Roundabout.
As is the norm, Super Metro offers free rides when either inaugurating a new fleet or when launching a new route. Today was no different as the Sacco announced that they would be offering free rides to and fro Kahawa Wendani. In a statement published on its Twitter page, the Sacco stated, “Today we officially commenced our services in KAHAWA WEST. As a way of thanking you the KAHAWA WEST FRATERNITY, we are offering you FREE RIDES to and fro.”
“Kindly note that we have more than 100 new fleet that we shall distribute in all our different routes. Our main aim is to serve you our esteemed clients better and better. Thank you for your suggestions via inbox and the comment section. We don’t take it for granted.” read part of the statement.
SuperMetro further stated that commuters would access the fleet at their main stage in Commercial and at the Kahawa West Roundabout.
Super Metro’s Continued Growth
SuperMetro is one of the few Matatu Sacco in Nairobi in the country that has a fully electric-powered bus from Basi Go in its fleet.
It is also one of the few Matatu Saccos in Nairobi and maybe Kenya as a whole which is known for restoring sanity in the Public Service Vehicles (PSV) sector from the color of their buses to the cleanliness of the buses, to the respectful nature of their crew. The buses under the Sacco do not blurt out loud music. Different from some rogue matatu operators, the Super Metro crew will stick to the recommended fare price, and this is not hiked as is the case with some operators. These are among the traits that have continued to make SuperMetro gain favor among travellers.
The Sacco boasts of one of the largest fleets of Public Transport Vehicles in the country and continues to expand its coverage to many areas within and outside the City Centre.
