Mazda could soon have a new logo. This is in accordance with trademark documents filed by the company in Japan.

A look at the Trademark application, reveals that the automaker’s logo design will not change much in terms of the already existing M wings shapes. Despite the logo retaining the wings, it occurs that the new logo has more angular wings compared to the current one.

Further, the outer ring of the new logo is more circular than current one and also has a flat appearance as opposed to the current logo’s 3D design.
Current Mazda Logo
The current logo was designed in 1997 and was slightly tinkered in 2015.
There are speculations that the automaker has plans to rebrand so as to appeal a more to a high-end market.
