The issue of these additional lights has been a thorn in the flesh where most drivers who have them fitted fail to dim them thereby inconveniencing other road users.

Vehicle owners are advised to ensure that they conform to the requirements to avoid inconvenience. Further, PSV, Tour and Commercial Vehicle operators have been advised to ensure that they have all their valid licences including Road Service Licence, Tour Service Licence, Motor Vehicle Inspection Stickers and PSV badges for the crew.

The press briefing, issued by BrunoTsohi Shioso, the Director Corporate Communications and Police Spokesperson also directed the traffic enforcement officers to impound and charge any vehicle or motorcycle owner who flouts the directive in accordance with the relevant laws.
