A section of Jogoo road has been closed to allow for some road works along the section. The said section is between Burma Market and Rikana Supermarket.
The contractor on site has since made a diversion for use by motorists during the period when they will be undertaking the said repairs. The diversion allows motorists to using the road from Nairobi, access the various interior roads passing through Shauri Moyo then joining Jogoo Road via Rabai Road or other convenient point.
Traffic Police officers have been on the site dirctecting and controlling traffic. By the time of going to press, Space Ya Magari had not established how long the closure would be in effect.

Jogoo Road is a major road linking Nairobi with various other roads including Outering Road, Bunyala Road, Likoni Road among others. It is the primary road used by dwellers living within the estates located in Eastlands, Nairobi.
