Mombasa Road Repairs

In 2023, KENHA had announced plans to repair and upgrade the Road after the construction of the 27-kilometer Nairobi Expressway. This construction led to the destruction of some parts of Waiyaki Way, Uhuru Highway with Mombasa Road being the most affected.

Also, the Authority had carried out repair works on the road at Mombasa-bound carriageway between Mlolongo (near expressway exit) to Athi River Interchange where the road had been closed for six days.
